America’s Premier Winery Insurance Program
Established as the pioneer in insurance for the winery and winemaking industry, John Sutak’s WineRe® insurance program touts the longest tenure – over twenty-six years – dedicated in its entirety to the wine industry. We provide insurance for Host Wineries, Custom Crush facilities, Alternating Proprietorships, and Negociants.
A native of Northern California, with over thirty years of insurance experience, including thirteen years as a broker and twenty years as an underwriter, Greg Locher understands insurance – risk, risk exposures, coverages, and successful indemnification.
More importantly, Greg understands the true value of insurance as well as the chemistry between any anticipated needs of the client at the time of purchasing insurance versus the client’s actual future expectations in the event of any loss.
As Paragon's Winemakers Program Manager, Greg is involved in all aspects of the program, beginning with coverage, claims and loss control, through the development of Paragon's next generation of facilitators.
The founding father of WineRe, John Sutak III has committed over three decades of his life to developing the most comprehensive insurance program with the sole intention of providing state-of-the-art insurance for winemakers and the wine industry.
Flexible and viable, WineRe’s coverages and risk management-like services are focused to offer financial piece of mind to those who wish to participate in a proactive insurance program whose sole focus is the wine industry and those clients with a passion and commitment to wine, winemaking, and the wine industry itself.
